Day Two

I realize this may get old fast but it is my way of keeping Daniel informed of everyday life. This morning started the same as always. Breakfast and than cleaning up the mess. I found a cute hairstyle blog for little girls hair and tried a new hairstyle on the girls. It turned out really cute. Next time I will make sure and take pictures. Around 10:30 we received a very welcome call from Qatar. It only last a few seconds before the internet connection went out. After several failed attempted I eventually got to talk to my hubby and the kids all got to say hi to Daddy. It was wonderful to see them all excited to hear his voice. He arrived there safely and is dealing with the jet lag. We miss him. I took Kadi to school and than ventured to Wal-Mart with the other kids by myself. All went fairly well. By the time we got home it had started to snow. MaKayla promptly told me the it couldn't snow anymore because Christmas was over. I got a hoot out of it. McKadi started piano today and seems to enjoy it. My mom is teaching her. After dinner and my appointment we had family home evening. I choose to do a lesson on honesty. We talked about a lie monster and how it grows and how hard it is to get rid of the monster. It went really well and I think the kids actually learned something. They wanted to do it all over again. After snacks we cleaned up and got everyone in bed. I am working on my goals and finding that I can actually do this. I am extremely tired so until tomorrow. Goodnight all my friends.
