Day 14

Crazy Crazy Saturday. The kids have been asking me for eggs, waffles and bacon for the last couple of morning so this morning I made them for them. It was so yummy. After breakfast and cleaning up I had to get everyone ready. We were invited to my nephew's birthday party in Twin Falls. I got everyone ready in one and a half hours. Not bad for 5 people. We left the house at 10:30 and headed in to town. I had to stop and get gas and also wash the van. After that adventure we went and picked up Daniel's Mom. She was riding with us. On the way to Twin I was able to call Daniel on my Skype mobile so he could talk to his Mom. That was neat. We made it to Twin just as the party was supposed to start which was noon. When we first got there it wasn't to crazy. Just some kids and a couple of adults. By 1 there were at least 40 kids and 20 adults. It was insane. I have never had that many people in a house at one time. (Tina if you read any of this don't get offended.) We had hamburgers, and hot dogs for lunch. Then the kids played some party games. Well at least they tried to. There were so many kids it was hard to tell what was going on. After that it was time to open the presents. So imagine all those people in one room that was made to maybe hold 15 people. Of course you can't have a birthday without cake and ice cream. The kids were in heaven. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to spend the time with family. I admire my sister-in-law for being able to handle all those kids and those people. She is stronger than me. We headed home about 3:00. I'll tell you what I am extremely tired. I made some turkey enchiladas for dinner and served them with black beans. They were delicious and healthy. The girls are currently taking a bath and Kayson is watching Scooby Doo. McKadi has a talk in primary tomorrow so I have to get started on that. It is almost bed time and I am ready for it to be here. Until tomorrow. Here are our crazy daily adventures.
