Day 13

Wow what a Friday. I woke up and got the kids feed breakfast and then it was time to start on the cake. It was a fairly easy cake. I worked on it from 9:00-11:30. This involved cutting for layers, frosting, coloring the fondant, rolling and putting the fondant on the cake, and than making the fondant border for the bottom. At that point I had to get Kadi ready to school. As we were getting ready for school McKadi started talking about Tim McGraw. He happens to be my boyfriend (yes Daniel knows). He had a music video on CMT the day before and I was telling McKadi how I "loved" him and he was so cute. She informed me he wasn't cute. She also told me that I couldn't love Tim McGraw because I love Daddy and that I couldn't marry him because I was married to Daddy. I was laughing so hard. After running Kadi to school and coming right back I got to work on the cake again. I had to make the American Idol logo, the microphones, and the star cutouts. Once everything was done it was time to write "Happy Birthday".

By the time I got done it was 2. I decided I had better eat lunch since I didn't yet. That was really quick and than time to get the kids ready. I delivered the cake at 3:30 and then we all headed to Wal-Mart to pick up a birthday present. I got some frozen pizzas for dinner since I was to tired to cook anything. As we were standing in the checkout line MaKayla, McKadi and my Mom went to get some ice cream. As I was standing in line I could hear MaKayla crying and throwing a fit. Yep all the way across the store. I was so embarrassed. On the way home Kayson fell asleep.

So of course he slept until almost 6:30 which in turn screwed up bedtime. I made the pizzas when we got home and everyone got to eat. As we were eating MaKayla told me that I have poky eyes like Daddy. Whatever that means. So either I have bushy eyebrows or long eyelashes or there is something else wrong with my eyes. After dinner I knew I was going to be up for a while so I went ahead and did the laundry. I put the girls to bed at the usual time and got to hang out with Kayson for a while. It was nice to have one on one time with him even though I was so tired. At 9:40 I put him in bed and got myself in bed. At 11:00 MaKenna woke up screaming. Once again I was up all night long. Man I just want to sleep. It was a good day even though it was really busy.
