Day 39 What do you do during a power outage???

Wednesday has been a great day. I spent the morning with the kids and cleaning up stuff. My Mom came home a little after 10 because she wasn't feeling well. I had a doctor's appointment at 1:00 so after taking McKadi to school I headed into town. I went to DI to kill some time. While I was there I found some cute dress up stuff for the girls. I also found some more stuff for the baby. My doctor's appointment went really well. I haven't even gain 2 pounds since the last time I saw him. As long as I keep doing what I am doing I am on track with my weight. I had him put my on something else for the anxiety. It has gotten really bad the last couple of weeks. I am not sleeping and feel really anxious about everything. I have also found myself emotionally eating and that isn't something I want to do. When I was through there I headed to Wal-Mart to get medication and some more food items. When I went into Wal-Mart it was 53 degrees outside. By the time I came out an hour later it was gray, blowing wind, and really cold. When I got to McKadi's school it was starting to rain. I went in to get her and came out 10 minutes later. I was snowing/raining. It was nasty. We made it home and the kids immediately wanted to get in their new dress up stuff. While they did that I started dinner. We had spinach and turkey manicotti with whole wheat garlic bread and salad. It was yummy. The girls got in the bath after dinner. They had only been in about 5 minutes when the power went out. Everything completely shut off. It was still light enough outside that the kids weren't scared. So we played dress up with everyone.

Finally the power came back on and the kids just finished playing. At 7 I got everyone ready for bed. I told them I had a date with my new movie. I went out on a limb and bought Unstoppable today. I watched it with my Mom and Dad. It was actually a really good movie. I am going to have to send it to Daniel now so he can watch it. Wednesday has been a great day.
