Day 33-36

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Wow what a crazy four days we have had. Kayson started a fever late Wednesday night and MaKayla was up screaming that her ear hurt. So first thing Thursday morning I called the doctor and made an appointment for McKayson, MaKayla, and MaKenna to be seen. I had to be there at 10:45 so I rushed to get everyone ready and out the door. I had to get everyone some breakfast and McKadi needed lunch so she could eat at school. After dropping her off at school I headed straight to Twin. We made it in time for our appointment. The doctor came in and saw the kids. They all had double ear infections and that nasty cough. So antibiotics for everyone. After that we headed to DI. I know they aren't feeling well but since I had to drive 45 miles I wanted to see if they had anything there for the baby. They did. I was so excited. I found a crib set and I whole bunch of bibs for $5. Awesome. I also found a complete Little Pet Shop set for the girls and McKayson got a whole bunch of Transformers. He was happy. After getting back to Burley we had to go to Wal-Mart and get medication filled. It took them forever. Kayson was screaming by the time we left. We got home and everyone got settled. My Mom called and McKadi had grabbed the wrong dance bag this morning. She had MaKayla's. So out the door we went again. I got McKadi her bag and watched her at dance a little bit. She is doing so good. I talked to MaKayla's teacher and she is going to make a tape for MaKayla so that she can practice at home since she has missed two weeks now. After McKadi was done I had to go to Smith's and toilet paper. McKadi wanted to get a treat for everyone and we rented a couple of movies as well. The kids watched the final Shrek and I watch Red with my Dad. It was so funny. MaKenna woke up and watched some of the movie with us. She still wasn't feeling to well.
Friday my Mom stayed home from school. McKadi was well enough that I took her to school. I came home and deep cleaned the entire house. I washed sheets, cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed, and Lysoled everything you can touch. I am tired of this sickness. I went through the kids toys and got rid of some of their old stuff. Every time they get a new toy they have to donate an old one to DI. It helps control the mess. I went and picked up McKadi from school. Than we headed to DI to drop off the toys. After that was another trip to Wal-Mart. This time for milk for MaKenna and medication for me. I finally got what the kids have had for 2 weeks. My throat hurt so bad I could hardly swallow. When we got home my Dad and McKadi made tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. I could get the soup but not the sandwich. The kids got to stay up later because it was Friday night. They watched a movie and played around. They all seem to be doing better now that they are on the medication. Hopefully it keeps going that way.
Saturday I spent most of the day on the couch or in my bed. I have just been miserable. Thankfully my parents have been home so I have been able to focus a little more on my self. I am on antibiotics as well and hope I can kick this nasty stuff before Monday. I hate being sick and feeling so bad. The kids watched movies most of the day until I made them actually play in the evening. Not very much happening on Saturday. On a funny note. MaKayla told me at lunch that I have to hid my belly so that no one laughs at me. Apparently it is getting bigger. Love that girl.
Sunday means no church for us. I am a parent that refuses to take my kids anywhere if they are even remotely sick. Especially since that is what started all of this. McKadi has started the cough and congestion so she is starting antibiotics today. We play on being lazy and just focusing on getting better. We got to talk to Daniel this morning and that was wonderful. I love talking to him and I miss him so much. The kids really miss their Daddy too. If their is anything eventful I will post it tonight.
