Day 25

Wonderful Wednesday. And it sure has been. This morning started with a little bit of a hiccup when I woke up to find that Kayson had tried to get the yogurt out of the fridge and feed it to the dog. After cleaning that up everything else went pretty smooth. I had the kids clean up their rooms and make their beds. Than I vacuumed the upstairs. By then it was 9:30 and I finally started to make breakfast. The kids wanted bacon, eggs, and toast. It was good. After that I had to get in the shower and get the kids all ready. I took McKadi to school and than headed home. Daniel's Mom came out to have lunch with us and play with the kids. She brought pizza and it was so nice to see her. She is a great grandma and loves her grandkids. It was nice to visit with her. She left around 2 and I loaded the three younger kiddos in the van to go grocery shopping. We went to the thrift store first to see if I could find any baby stuff. They didn't have anything but I just a littlest pets play set for the girls and Kayson got a batman toy. I know just what they needed more toys. We than headed to Wal-Mart. Grocery shopping went really well. It always makes me tired but it is something I have to do. I got the girls new booster seats so that all three of the kids can actually fit in the back seat. Now we can keep the van and not have to get a bigger car. One less thing to worry about. Now I just have to get all the baby stuff. We came home and I cleaned out the fridge and put groceries away. Than we had left over pizza for dinner. I know but my feet and back hurt to bad to spend an hour making dinner. After dinner the kids just played and I got something done around the house. I had to finish my laundry and do the everyday pick up. At 7 we started to get ready for bed. After a story and bed everyone was told not to get up. Surprisingly Kayson was the only one that got up. MaKayla is starting to loose her voice and has been coughing really bad this evening. I gave her some cough medicine so she could sleep. I think I may keep her home in the morning. She feels warm and looks like she is coming down with what MaKenna and McKayson had. McKadi is the only one who hasn't got it. I have been fighting it and hopefully I won't get it. That is all our exciting stuff for today. I have to put in some of MaKayla saying from the last couple of days.

McKayson: My guys cold.

MaKayla: No only humans with real skin can be cold.

McKadi: Do you know my friend Beyonce?

MaKayla: No. What color of skin does she have?

McKadi (looking at the Barbie book and trying to decide.): Like this one. Gray. She has gray skin.

MaKayla: No that is not gray. That is skinny skin.
