Day 87 Let the bed rest begin

On Sunday the 3rd of April I went into Cassia Regional Medical Center because I was having a lot of contractions and a lot of pain. They put me on the monitor and told me yep you are having contractions and some irritably. That is all they would do for me. I guess Intermountain Health Care policy is that if you are not 36 weeks or later they will not check you or deliver your baby. They will send you either to Boise or Salt Lake City. Okay not cool. I was only 33 weeks. So they told me to go home, take it easy and call my doctor in the morning. Well Doctor Dowdle was out of town on Monday so I had to wait to see him on Tuesday the 5th of April. When I finally saw him he checked me and I was dilated to a 2 and 60% effaced. Not good at 33 weeks. He ran some tests and told me I need to go home and lay down until he called. He called later that evening and said I was to go on bed rest for the next 3 weeks and I would see him on the 13th. So let the bed rest begin. The kids are all staying with friends until Friday when my Mom comes home. I am bored and going crazy not having anything to do but it is better than having a preterm baby. I am so grateful for everyone who has helped us and who have take care of my kids while I am not able to. It is difficult not having Daniel here but not very much longer and it will all be over. I just have to keep telling myself that.
