On August 18, 2010 Kadi had surgery on her tongue. She was really tongue tied so they decided that she needed to have it clipped. We had to be at the Paso Del Norte Surgery Center at 5:30. Than we waited forever until about 7:30. They took her back and got her ready. They had her change into these color scrubs. I wanted some. She got to play and watch a movie for a while. Finally they called her back and she left with the nurse. Mom had to go wait in the waiting room. It took all of 6 minutes for them to do the cutting.

After surgery. She just woke up from the anesthesia. She didn't feel very good. Her mouth hurt and she was hungry. She hadn't been able to eat since the night before. We went home about 9 and she had to take it easy. That night she had a rough night. She cried a lot and had a fever. I took her to the er the next day and she had an infection. They gave her antibiotics for 10 days. She has completely healed now and has a better range of motion with her tongue. My poor little girl.
