Fourth of July
We had a wonderful fourth of July. We started by spending the morning going to one of the many castle ruins on the island. The Katsuren Castle Ruins. After that we went to one of the outlying island. Ikei Island was absolutely beautiful. It was a nice drive. It was a good morning. Later we came home and took and nap. Than we got ready to go to American Fest. It was a lot of fun. The kids rode the rides and we listened to Gary Sinse and the Lt. Dan band. We had some yummy food and watched the fireworks. It was a great evening. Except for the almost two hours it took us to just get out of the parking lot.
Here we are watching the fireworks. The girls just wanted to run around with their flashing devil horns.

Kayson was having fun with the water bottles.
When the fireworks started he was really tired. He just watched them and didn't move.
I decided to go on the space ship ride with Kayson. He needed to be in on the action. There wasn't a weight limit so I guess I was safe. I was worried I might break it with my fat pregnant self.
The girls had fun making it go up and down. This is the only picture of the two of them after that all you can see is Makayla.
The swings were a huge hit. They loved going around and around.
Makayla was so stiff when the ride ended that the operator couldn't get her out of her seat. Daniel had to go over and rub her arms until they loosened up.
The bouncy slides are always a favorite. Makayla couldn't quite make it up the wall. The Japanese man had to lift her and throw her to the top. It was quite funny.
McKadi was so fast we almost didn't get a picture of her. She loved it.
Gary Sinse and the Lt. Dan Band performed. It was awesome to see them. It was a little loud so we just took pictures and left.
The girls weren't sure what to think of the noise.

Here we are at Katsuren Castle. It was a steep climb and he couldn't use the stroller. Kayson didn't mind walking around by himself.
My sweet McKadi. She has so much energy. She was always telling us Come On.
Makayla just loves to be outside. She found all the snails and the butterflies.
Here is Daddy and his girls sitting in front of one of the caves that was used during enemy attacks.
Our little man loved running around on his own. We could hardly get him to stop for a picture.
