White Beach Adventure
This last week we had a wonderful opportunity to spend three days at White Beach. We left here on the 27th and come home the evening of the 29th. Daniel's Battalion did a family retreat. It was a nice vacation. We stayed in a cabin. The first day there was beautiful. It was sunny and the kids had a really good time playing in the sand and at the playground with the other kids. The second day was not so great. It rained and the wind blew all day. We managed to roast marshmallows the second night. The girls really enjoyed that. The third day was a combination of the first two days. We ventured out and played at the beach. We were having a great time and it started to down pour. We made it to the van and than decided to head home. The kids were so tired. Makayla and McKayson fell asleep on the way home and McKadi crashed not very long after we got home.
The pictures are out of order. Kayson was Mr. Cool in the shades. He loves putting on Daddy's stuff and strutting his stuff.
Daniel was having the kids model his sunglasses while it was raining outside. McKadi was the first model. She did such a good job.
Makayla just loves to be silly. She always has to wear things different than everyone else.
Daniel went out the second night and play pool with some of the guys that he works with. While he was gone Kayson decided to climb in the side table and kept getting himself stuck. It was funny.
Here we are at the beach before it started to rain. McKadi has picked up the Japanese peace sign. They do it in all the pictures.
Makayla loved playing with the bucket and the sand. She wasn't so fond of the water. She kept getting cold.
We have a crab floaty for Kayson. He thought this was the best thing ever. Daniel would let him go and the sunshade would act like a parasail and take him away in the water.
This is the playground right outside the cabin. McKadi had fun getting buried by her brother and sister.
Daddy and Makayla were attempting to build a tunnel. However Kayson the destroyer kept attacking it.
Kayson thought the sand was great. He even ate it a couple of times. He was covered from head to toe.
